THE MUSIC

We have a huge catalogue of music to hand - playing the usual 'Floor fillers' that everyone will dance to - Barry White's "Your The First, The Last, My Everything" being amongst the firm favourites, the 'Party Favourites' like DJ Ortiz’s "Hey Baby", 1960's classic hits like Lulu's "Shout" and themed selections from the Rocking 50s, Swinging 60s, Glam Rock 1970s, 70s disco, 70s and 80s Punk, Early 80s New Romantic and Electronic 80s, Dance-powered 90s and current tracks from the Year 2000 onwards and the latest chart tracks, plus don't forget a good mix of Reggae, Ska, R'n'B....the list is endless!

Themed nights obviously concentrate on the sounds from particular era's in musical history - with Rock N' Roll Nights, 60's nights, 70's nights and now 80's nights becoming popular.

We leave the music choice up to you - when booking us, we ask for a selection of the music you would like us to play - and also the music you DON'T want us to play so you can influence what we play alongside the usual tunes you expect to hear. Also, telling us before the event enables us to source any particular tracks you want to hear. We had the challenge of finding some rare Salsa tracks for one event and actually found better versions of the tracks that the client had in her collection.

We carry a large selection of CDs which compliment our Digital Playback system with around 100,000 tracks, meaning a wide range of tracks are at our fingertips during your event - literally offering music selections from 'A' to 'Z'.

  First Dance Ideas

A lot of importance is often placed on the first dance - especially if the song has special significance to you both. If you have an idea of your own just let us know. There is a link on our links page, so you can check out the lyrics of songs to see if they are suitable for you. If you're stuck for ideas, or you're not sure if the Birdie Song would be appropriate, then look no further. Here are just a few suggestions for a bride and groom
